What’s In My Fall Capsule Wardrobe
Last year, I decided to quit my job at the marketing agency I was working at to join my mom full time to help with her business! It’s been one of the most fulfilling, fun, and creative experiences I’ve ever had and I am so lucky I get to work with my cool mama every day… truly a blessing. I’ve been focusing mainly on her side of the business so I’ve taken off some time from Em’s Picks. However, I am so excited to get back into it and start posting on here more! I have a love for styling, fashion, and digital creating (I think I know who I get that from 😉), and I have so many ideas that I’m exited to share.
Now that summer is almost over 😢, I am looking for new pieces to add to my wardrobe. With all of the new trends and constant flow of new arrivals, it’s hard to create a wardrobe with pieces that I can style multiple ways! This post is my way of creating brand new, versatile outfits that can be worn multiple ways for the upcoming season!

Mother Daughter Shopping
I recently purchased my first pair of Mother jeans and honestly… they’re worth the hype! My mom would probably disagree, but I wear light jeans all year round haha and this pair is stretchy and surprisingly comfortable. Also the color of this shirt jacket is SO pretty and with rolled up sleeves, it makes the perfect layering piece.
If you see me out to drinks with my boyfriend or friends on a Friday night, I am probably wearing an outfit like this (as you can see in the opening photo). I’ve had these snakeskin boots for almost 4 years and I still wear them to this day… I also heard snakeskin print is in this season!
I’ve been dying to get a striped cardigan sweater for a while and this one from Mango is perfect. Denim midi skirts are all the rage right now and make for a great piece as we head into fall. I would style them with boots or cute kitten heels like these ones.
The trend “coastal grandmother” was talked about all summer and as we transition into fall, I think this would be a perfect outfit. This H&M sweater is cozy and only $40. I also love a good pair of Amazon sunglasses and these aviators look almost identical to the Bottega Veneta pair. For now I’ll stick to the $15 ones 😂
I used to be skeptical about how good Kim Kardashian’s brand Skims really was, but after trying this cotton t-shirt (I know it’s just a t-shirt), I was hooked! I now have the same shirt in 5 different colors and styles. Whether it’s with jeans, a tennis skirt, or even leggings, I can wear this shirt SO many different ways.
If I’m going out to a nice dinner with my family, I would opt for an outfit like this. Easy to wear, and I can change out the trench coat for various different jackets, like this new wool wrap coat. Plus, I’ve been obsessing over the color grey and these new Frame jeans are so great for fall.
Thanks for reading! Happy Labor Day weekend!
