I just put ten things in my cart — which I never do!

I have a pretty fun job, and I absolutely love what I do for a living: making great outfits for all of you! Although I’ve been a retail girl my entire life, I still find “blog research” quite fascinating — it’s kind of like the thrill of the hunt. And, as you might imagine, I often don’t find things I’m super excited about. But sometimes, like last night, I get inspired and can’t wait to share. Yes, last night at 10 pm while writing this blog post, I was working on completely different content, and I was almost done. But then I popped on to the J.Crew website and noticed the words “new arrivals.” So, I immediately put ten things in my cart — which I never do!

These days I get really excited about new arrivals at J.Crew. I find that pretty often I’m mixing a piece or two from J.Crew with something I already own and putting together a great outfit. And, since the brand is on fire thanks to Olympia, the super cool lead designer, I knew I’d find several items to share with you. As I scrolled, I kept finding thing after thing that I’m certain will sell out. Here’s the scoop: the good items are going fast, and if you find something that catches your eye, don’t wait because it will likely be gone. Not to mention, many things are ON SALE. Also, check out my style boards — I’m sure you’ll find some things you love!

Pro-tip: Don’t buy your entire wardrobe at J.Crew! Even Olympia doesn’t do that 😉 Be sure and mix things up by wearing J. Crew pieces mixed in with your favorite denim and boots, a designer bag if you own one, and other fun accessories. This is the essence of high/low dressing. Cheers! 🥂

I always find dresses I love at J.Crew, and the one in the opening photo was an all-time favorite! I was so excited to spot an updated version here. A classic striped dress is one you’ll have for years to come. Every single dress below is SO good, and you’ll wear them all summer long. Put a couple in your cart so you’re ready when the warmer weather gets here!

I think the J.Crew swim shop has some of the best swimsuits and coverups around. Everything is very well-priced, and quite often you’ll find things on sale. The colors are always so bright and pretty! I’ve had the cover-up above for years, and I wear it all the time. Same with the one-shoulder swimsuit! The swimsuits run true to size, maybe a touch roomy.

I love all the new tops at J.Crew right now, and the eyelet one above is really pretty. So is this feather trimmed one, this striped t-shirt and this French blue striped shirt. They all look great with denim which makes it easy to get dressed!

I can’t say enough about the Juliette cardigan (it runs really big so size down). I just picked up this new navy cardigan and the striped one below — and they’re both pieces you’ll wear all spring and summer.
