5 dresses that keep selling out … everyone loves them!
I get lots of DM’s every day (which I absolutely love!), and lately, the question I get the most is “what should I wear to xxx event?” Just this week, it was a baptism, a beach wedding, a birthday celebration, a cocktail party, and a vacation … to name just a few. And I always have the same answer: A DRESS! It’s the easiest way to pull together a stylish, pretty outfit. This is why having a few good dresses in your rotation is key. There are many different styles to choose from, and in particular, there are 5 dresses that keep selling out because everyone loves them!
In order to help you narrow down your choices, I’ve put together my selections below. There’s everything from a slipdress (yep, they’re still trending) to the brand that’s all over Instagram to a LBD. There are some really good ones, and now is the time to start adding a few to your collection. I’ll also give you some ideas on how to take dresses to the next level with great shoes and accessories. #1 Slip dresses
I’ve gone on and on about the Vince slip dress, and for good reason. I’ve rarely heard of someone not liking this dress. The satin fabric is weighty, which hides any unwanted bumps. Also, it’s cut on the bias, so it’s very flattering since it comes in a little at the waist. This one from J.Crew is new, and is another one that everyone loves. And how pretty is this green? Add a blazer or leather jacket over a slipdress for cooler evenings, and switch up your accessories depending on the event.

#2 LBDs
Everyone needs and loves a LBD (little black dress)! This one by A.L.C. is a good one, and it comes in other colors too. It works for a cocktail event, a dressy wedding and and many other occasions when a LBD is an option. I mentioned the Vince slipdress above, and the Norma Kamali strapless one is also versatilee. For $125, it’s worth every penny!

#3 Who loves Farm Rio dresses?
The Brazilian label Farm Rio has been one of the hottest brands this year, and their bright, colorful dresses are just so … happy! This style, with the circle cut-out, has been super popular, and the colors in this one are really pretty. This is the time they’re starting to arrive, and they’re perfect for more casual occasions you might have coming up. Mostly everyone loves these dresses!

#4 Zimmermann dresses
Last fall, I purchased my first Zimmermann dress, (similar to this) and it might be the best dress I’ve ever owned! The button details, fit, fabric — everything is pretty and feminine. I spotted this one the other day while shopping in Portland, and it stopped me in my tracks! I know it’s a big splurge, but if you have a special event coming up, I highly recommend one of these beautiful dresses.

#5 One of my great loves: Anthropologie dresses

Right now, Anthropologie has some of the BEST dresses out there. Recently, I picked up this one for vacation, and I absolutely love it. There’s also this printed shirt dress, as well as this basic black dress, and they both come in many different versions (see here and here).
