Soak up the sun with these vacation outfits ☀️
Every year it happens around this time of year … I start dreaming about sun and warm weather vacations! Since I live in the PNW, the winters around here are a little dreary (an understatement). By the time January rolls around, a little dose of sunshine is desperately needed ☀️ Thankfully, this year we have a fun Palm Springs trip planned. It’s a quick 2.5 hour plane ride, and landing in the sunny desert is so dreamy! We’ll be staying at the Holiday House, and I absolutely love it there. The location is perfect, and the décor, designed by my favorite interior designer Mark D. Sikes, is laid back and cool. The plan is to play pickleball everyday (according to my husband), and lay around the pool (my idea of perfection). There will be casual bike rides, yummy dinners and, of course, lots of yummy cocktails 🙂 I can hardly wait!

Warm weather capsule wardrobe
I know I’m wearing a J.Crew cardigan in the above photo, and this is a warm weather capsule wardrobe post 😳 BUT, I’ve found that on many vacations, even if it’s sunny during the day, it can get cool at night! This cardigan jacket is lightweight enough to wear on a cool summer evening. But, it’s heavy enough to keep you warm on the plane. So, it’s pretty much the perfect cardi to take on a trip!
