Great finds: Faux leather puffer vest | Hoodie | Jeans, similar | Positano candle | Golden Goose sneakers

10 great finds under $150: I’ve tested them all!

I’m regularly asked to share affordable and stylish pieces, and if you’ve been following me for awhile, you likely know there are a handful I talk about all the time. For example, the hoodie above is just $99, and it’s one of the best pieces I’ve recommended in a loooong time! There’s also this bra-friendly $49 cami, and the now-famous $94 Vuori jogger. Yes, I also like some splurges, like Moncler jackets, YSL handbags, and Mother denim — all great pieces — but the best and most individual style actually comes from mixing it all together.

Today’s post features 10 great finds under $150 and I’ve tested them all! The affordable price point also makes every one of these items a great gift … and it’s never too early to start stocking up for the holidays 🌟 As I’ve always promised you, I’ll never suggest an item I haven’t tried myself (or asked a trusted colleague to weigh in on). I either own it already, or I WANT to own it 😉 There are also brand new style boards that show you how to style these important pieces … hopefully they’ll give you a little inspo too!

P.S. If you’re new around here and want to stay up to date on all things stylish and the bound-to-sell-out items we ALL need, then subscribe here and never miss a post! You can check out my Instagram  here and my LTK page here.

Brand new under $150

Sequin dress | Plaid jacket | Fur jacket | Anine Bing t-shirt | Madewell denim| Clutch | Pink bag | Plaid shirt | Gold sandal | Bracelet

I’m always looking for the next best thing – here are this week’s finds, all under $150! To see more favorites – under $100, click here.

#1 Rebecca Minkoff clutch $96

This fun clutch is a favorite, and several months ago I purchased the gold version. Since then it has hardly been in stock! Well, it’s finally back, and I noticed the price increased to $128 from $98 — which is still a good deal — but we like the lower price better. Just this morning I noticed Neiman Marcus is having a Friends & Family sale, and this clutch is included! I also found it at Revolve in more colors at the lower price, so hurry before they realize it!

#2 Anine Bing t-shirts $99

Left: Shirt jacket | Anine Bing t-shirt | Frame coated denim | Clogs | YSL bag | Right: Coat, similar | Anine Bing t-shirt | Paige Cindy | Gucci Scarf

Yes, I know, I’ve talked about these Anine Bing graphic tees for years. I keep thinking I’ll get tired of them, but I continue to reach for them when I’m getting dressed! They still sell out, and today I spotted the best selection at Revolve (where making returns is really easy). They’re super cool layered under cardigans, shirt jackets, and blazers. Add one now, if you haven’t already 😉

#3 Wool/Cashmere hoodies $99

After months of searching high and low for the right hoodie, now there are several I love and recommend! First is the Nordstrom wool/cashmere one (below) that is marked down from $149 to $99. It’s so good, and the quality is really nice. Prior to the Nordstrom ones finally coming online, I tried this $99 one (opening photo) that I found at Saks Off Fifth. I think a sweater hoodie is one of the best items to own. ICYMI, I wrote this blog post recently, and I also shared styling ideas in this Reels video.

#4 Sweaters, sweaters, and more sweaters (!!)

Left: $69 off the shoulder sweater | Frame coated denim | Gucci sandals | Right: Stripe sweater | Mother denim, similar

Both of the sweaters I’m wearing are really great, I recommend them for everyone! I absolutely love this new striped turtleneck sweater, and I’ve been wearing it non stop. Treasure & Bond makes some of the best sweaters under $100, and this $69 off-the-shoulder one is still in stock. It’s cozy and a little bit sexy. Finally, the $39 1.State sweater is still available in a bunch of colors, including ivory and taupe — both classics.

#5 Jewelry under $150

I’m always looking for special pieces of jewelry to layer in with some of my nicer pieces. When you make these combinations, your friends will never guess they aren’t all real! Two brands I continually look at are J.Crew and Nadri. I own pieces from both, like this tennis bracelet and these earrings. The prices are fantastic, and these pieces look WAY more expensive than they are. Just today, I spotted these new earrings, this necklace and this fun cocktail ring — all perfect for any occasion!

#6 Cozy PJs under $100

Target pj’s

It’s pajama season, and this is the time of year to find the BEST selection of pj’s. The lingerie departments are packed with merchandise, and I have several favorites I’ve tested and love. First up is the Nordstrom Moonlight pj’s. They’re SO soft, and come in several versions like long sleeved sets, short sleeved sets, and night shirts. Honeydew makes a best selling one called the All-American, and I’ve worn mine non stop for several years. Finally, I made a score at Target with this pair (pictured above), and many of you loved them as well!

#7 Great jeans under $100

Veronica Beard top | Levi’s

I’m often asked about denim under $100, and there are three brands I recommend all the time. First is Levi’s, and my all time favorite jeans are the Icon Wedgie I’m wearing above. The 724’s. Madewell are another favorite, and I’ve had this pair for years and wore them yesterday — and they’re skinnies! Finally, Whetherly is carried at Nordstrom, and my friend who gives me the inside scoop says everyone who tries them loves them.

#8 Norma Kamali strapless dress $125

Blank NYC jacket | Norma Kamali dress | L’Agence sandals

I can’t say enough good things about this dress! It’s SO versatile, classic, a little sexy and can be worn most months of the year. I’m wearing a size small for reference, and underneath I’m wearing this Spanx short and this strapless bra. Read this blog post to see all the ways I style it!

#9 Wacoal favorites

Vince silk blouse | Vince pants | Gold sandals, similar | Wacoal bra

Wacoal is a favorite brand, and I admire the company so much. This past summer, I had the opportunity to visit their factory in the Dominican Republic and wow was it impressive! Super clean, high tech, with kind and conscientious employees, many of whom have been there for over 20 years. I watched production of the Red Carpet Strapless Bra from start to finish, and I’m so thankful for the experience. Some all time favorites are below.

#10 Cashmere/silk scarf $99

I spoke at a luncheon here in Portland a couple of months ago, and one of the things I discussed was the importance of a great black scarf. But not just any black scarf … THIS black scarf! It’s the perfect weight, not too thick, but just heavy enough to add a little warmth. It’s a silk/cashmere blend, so it’s super soft. I take mine on every flight, every trip, no matter where I’m going. It also makes every fall and winter outfit that much more stylish. Everyone needs this scarf … trust me on this one!

Bonus #11 Home finds

Just yesterday I wrote a new blog post called “A Secret: All My Friends Buy Home Items From This Store,” and most of the items are under $100, including this cool DIY project using the John Derian book and these frames I found at Target. Read the post here, and watch my DIY frame project here!
