A few years ago, my TV producer friend Tammy asked me if I’d like to do a holiday segment on the AM Northwest Morning Show here in Portland. Of course, I immediately said yes! Then she said, “can you do it on gifts under $50?” “Absolutely!” I replied. But, secretly, I was wondering if I could come through with enough gift ideas to meet my high standards 😂 My friends joke about how picky I am when it comes to giving gifts — I want them to be perfect!

Well, that segment (and all the ensuing posts I wrote featuring the gift suggestions) was very popular … so I’m at it again! For the last few weeks, I’ve been carefully selecting special gifts, ones that your loved ones will hopefully appreciate and enjoy.
