7 pieces to try for your next night out 🥂

Many of us love anything with sequins and sparkles, so this time of year when all the fun holiday pieces start rolling in, my mind goes crazy thinking of all the outfit possibilities! Yes, we’re only half way through October, but now is the time to start planning your festive outfits. There are many many options to help you get ready for parties and get-togethers, and I’m excited to share some super cute pieces below. I recommend purchasing things earlier in the season, in order to allow for longer wearing time. After all the party season is pretty short!

Today’s post is about 7 pieces to try for your next night out. These are items that you can easily incorporate into any of your holiday outfits to make them feel a little more festive. For example, pick a holiday blouse (like this or this) that pairs beautifully with all your favorite denim. Or, try a simple black blouse (like this Frame and this Vince), add a party bag or sparkle sandal, and you’ll have the cutest outfit for your next evening on the town 🌟 It’s all arriving in stores now, so it’s the perfect time to pick up a few pieces. You want to be ready for all your upcoming holiday events!

Try a festive sweater … or sequins?

Apparis coat | Coated denim | YSL bag | Boots | Sweater

We don’t have to pull out the old reindeer sweater from the drawer to have fun with a festive sweater 😂 Since I love anything with sequins, this new sweater caught my eye — and it’s $99! And, they’re trending: just look at all the sequined dresses worn by stylish celebs at the Emmy’s. Don’t be afraid to shine! If you’re looking for something on the sexy side, this off the shoulder style is always a favorite, and it’s back again this year. If you prefer not to go with sequins, any festive sweater will do: they’re perfect for the holidays because they make you feel cozy and warm!

Fun, stylish outerwear

Wrap coat | Coated denim | YSL bag | Gucci sandals | Scarf | Ivory blouse | Earrings

This is the time of year where faux fur starts arriving, and it’s a perfect alternative to wear with dresses or denim! Faux fur usually looks way more expensive than it actually is, and you can’t go wrong with any color. Try black or ivory, or any bright color you fall in love with. Check out the brand Apparis, and for an affordable version, Blank NYC has this.

Coated denim

Coated denim is ideal for this time of year … it adds an element of cool to your outfit, and mixes it up from all our regular denim. Everyone should consider adding a black (or brown) pair to their denim collection. They pair perfectly with cozy sweaters, coats and scarves, and they also work nicely with strappy sandals and a pretty blouse for the holidays. I love the Frame Le Sylvie Slender, I wore them all the time last year. And if you like a little kick flare, these are great!

Sparkle bags

Sparkle bags are everywhere lately, both on Instagram and on the street style fashion girls. This Cult Gaia one is the “it” style to own, but if you don’t want the high price tag, grab this one at Amazon. Don’t think these bags are strictly for the holidays — they work any time of year with pretty dresses, or even t-shirts and denim.

Party shoes!

Party shoes have been taking off … and believe it or not, it started during the pandemic when Amina Muddai launched her shoe line and they completely sold out! While a party shoe is perfect for the holidays, this is another trend that works all year around. I just purchased these Gucci ones (crazy splurge I know), and I wore them to the LTK conference last month with a simple black shirt dress. There are loads of options at all price points. Have fun with these!

Sparkly Jewelry

The finishing touch to every outfit, sparkly earrings and bracelets are pieces you’ll have for years to come. You don’t need a lot, just a piece or two. Take a look at the Swarovski collection at Nordstrom — it stopped me in my tracks when I was visiting the Fashion Valley store recently. Also, adding a statement bracelet like this is fun. And, check out these pieces at J.Crew. Sparkly jewelry doesn’t have to be expensive, and it’s an easy way to brighten your entire outfit.
