The color that makes everything look expensive!

Every year around this time, we start to see all the fall colors, and besides black, camel is the only color I can think of that instantly adds sophistication and elegance to any outfit. Something about this classic shade invokes a luxe feel, making whatever you’re wearing look more expensive … even if it’s from Zara! This season, head-to-toe beige and soft neutral colors have caught the attention of the fashion set, and I saw it first hand while shopping in SoHo a few weeks ago.

There are many different ways to wear camel and other shades of beige. These colors look amazing with black, luxurious with charcoal gray, and pair nicely with white. For a touch of pattern, try a printed scarf like this one or this one and even a tote like this. Find the perfect camel-colored piece (or two) and make it a timeless addition to your wardrobe! 5 ways to incorporate neutral tones into your wardrobe

1 – Camel coats

A camel coat is a luxurious indulgence … but, since it’s a piece you wear over and over again, it’s worth the investment. You will find that a camel coat goes with everything, from denim and white sneakers to a black evening dress and strappy sandals. A camel sweater is another classic piece to purchase right now. It makes every outfit look chic! I think J.Crew makes some of the best affordable sweaters in soft, neutral colors, including cashmere sweaters like this one and the Juliette cardigan. The cashmere is great quality; I own the basic crew and wear it most seasons. Pair your camel sweaters with lighter wash or black denim, and add a sneaker, a flat or a heeled bootie. You will look on trend and put together, every single time.

Right now, blazers are everywhere, and they’re perfect with denim or with a work trouser. I love the Rag & Bone Slade blazer below and it’s available in olive green, black and navy.
