It has been a whirlwind of a month, and between the Nordstrom Anniversary sale, a couple of trips and a new season before us … let’s just say there are a lot of exciting things happening here at So Susie! I really love hearing from all of you. It’s fun for me to see what you like because, among other things, it gives me ideas for future posts, Insta stories and YouTube videos. There are also some NSale finds I’ve spotted that are still available, as well as favorite items that are so good you’ll want them in every color! (Also worth noting: J.Crew just received a new shipment, and I grabbed this skirt off the mannequin today — check their new arrivals). #2 Gorjana necklace – I love this necklace, and have been wearing it every single day. Wear it layered with this beaded resin necklace and this simple chain. It’s perfect!
#3 Nordstrom wool/cashmere scarf – I take this on every trip and I wear it around Portland in the fall and winter and on place trips in the summer. Black is the number one color we should all own, and this one is perfect! #4 Schutz sandal – There’s really not another sandal I can think of that goes with basically everything. From dresses, denim and everything in between, this neutral sandal is a must-have for everyone. It’s surprisingly comfortable and the 2″ heel is the perfect height. #5 Utility jacket – At $59, it’s no wonder this is a top seller. I’ve gone on and on about it – don’t wait it’s a good one! #6 Gold clutch – Everyone is asking about this fun clutch! It’s a great price an the gold metallic is a trending color right now. It’s in stock here #7 Poplin shirt – This has just sold out at Nordstrom, but I found it here. The color is sophisticated, it’s comfy and oversized and just plain cool! #8 L’Agence denim jacket – Another favorite item, it’s soft, not bulky and looks good with everything. I love the wash Brisbane, which is in stock here. #9 YSL sandal – This is finally back in stock, and it’s the perfect color sandal in my opinion 🙂 #10 Mother denim – You know how much I love Mother denim! The Insider, Dazzler and Hustler are favorite fits.

With one week left to shop the NSale, I did a quick scour to see what’s still in stock that you should check out. There are always things I didn’t notice at first, like this Ted Baker dress which is so pretty. There are also a few beauty tools like the GloPro and NuFace which you’ll be so happy to own in the months to come. They also make great gifts, my daughter informed me she’d like this one!
Coats/jackets – this best-selling leather one, this trench coat, and these gorgeous coats by Fleurette — all super cute!
Black Boots – These suede AGL ones, these weatherproof ones by Blondo, platforms by Paul Green, Veronica Beard pointy toe boots and these everyday block heel ones by Bruno Magli — all staples you’ll wear through fall and winter
Barefoot dreams – this lightweight cardigan might be my favorite Nsale purchase (!!) I’m wearing it while writing this post. Also these blankets make great gifts
Lingerie – I noticed this Natori feathers bra (3.3k reviews) is still in stock, and so is this strapless one by Wacoal. Don’t forget new panties, like these Natori Bliss thongs and these Chantelle soft stretch comfy panties — both personal favorites!
Zella active – This quilted coat is SO GOOD and still in stock! The jogger is still in stock and has over 1k near-perfect reviews, it’s a good one. There are also these live-in-leggings, which might be the number one item on the whole sale. Check it all out here.
J.Crew new arrivals
Tiered dress | Heart bracelet | Loewe tote | YSL sandals | L’Agence denim jacket This dress has been a favorite, and I probably should have included it above since I’m considering a second color too! I always love when J.Crew gets a new shipment, and of course it’s important to be selective and just grab a few meaningful pieces. For anyone looking for a last minute summer dress, this brand new one is super cute. These New Balance sneakers in the sand color sold out but now they’re back in stock. Also spotted this cashmere t-shirt in the prettiest colors, and then there’s this short khaki trench coat. Check it all out here!
