12 outfits to get you through summer!
Summer is just a few days away, and many of us are going on vacation or out enjoying the nice weather. So I thought I’d put together some outfit ideas that will make getting dressed simple and easy! Throw some of these combos into a suitcase for a weekend getaway, put them on to run around town, or wear them to go out for lunch and dinner. They are versatile, easy and stylish. Hopefully you can use these 12 outfits to get you through summer!
Today’s post is about summer staples that work for everyone. Based on all of the sweet comments I get daily, you all love many of these items too. Keep reading, I hope you find a little inspo!

Vince has some of the best summery tops on the market right now, and I know they’re a bit of a splurge, but I believe they’re worth every penny. If you’re wondering why, it’s because the styles are timeless, and they are always understated, and they stay in style for years to come. I love this navy top, it’s similar to the one I’m wearing above. (They run big so size down.) I’m wearing an XXS. P.S. First off, my jeans are too long(!!) I almost didn’t post this photo, but I also have difficulties getting the right length, and it wasn’t until I saw the photo that I realized how they look 😂 They’ve since been cut shorter 🙂 This oversized Theory blazer is a great summer piece. Theory has an entire collection of stretch linen, and besides this blazer, other pieces you’ll love include this top and this dress, all perfect for summer!
#3 White dress + Jimmy Choo sandals

White dresses are another timeless summer staple. This one by the brand Likely is a pretty eyelet, and runs short (as you can see since I’m 5’1″) so there were no alterations needed. Other white dresses worth looking at include this Milly one and this J.Crew tiered one.
#4 Tommy Bahama swim + Coverup
… the perfect way to dress through summer 😉

Black swimsuits are slimming, and this off the shoulder style is part of the “Pearl collection” (see more styles here). Other brand new slimming swimsuits include this one and this one. Add a simple coverup, like this white shirt style and a cool hat, and you’ll look chic by the pool or on vacation.

Oversized poplin shirts are the cool shirt to own this season, and every fashion girl has been wearing them non-stop. I saw a WWW article about the coolest ways to wear an oversized shirt — check it out here. This one by Citizens has been so popular and Nordstrom quickly sold out of the navy, but I found it for you here. I also love this light blue one and this stripe! Try one, you’ll wear it all the time!
#6 Farm Rio Dress + Neutral sandals

Farm Rio is having a moment, and the brightly colored prints are happy and perfect for summer. If you need a dress for a special event, I can’t say enough good things about this one, and it’s available in pretty bright colors here.
#7 Travel outfit + Monos luggage

Having a go-to travel outfit is key, and depending on where you’re going, comfy knit pants like these are amazing. I like wearing jeans if I’m traveling a shorter distance, and yes, I do wear white on the airplane — but maybe not a brand new pair 😉
#8 Paige top + Rails skirt

This outfit was a favorite from last year, and when I spotted this Paige top that’s almost identical to the Paige tank I’m wearing, I knew it was worth sharing. The Rails skirt is a medium, but look at this pretty yellow print and this marbleized print in the exact same style in the photo above.

Someone recently asked me what my favorite slipdress is. Hands down, it’s the Vince dress — it fits almost everyone. Since it’s cut on the bias it’s super flattering, and these body slimmers help cover every little lump and bump (if you have those)! They’re arm flattering and slightly forgiving, and the cool texture makes this one stand out from all the basic ones we see everywhere.

Paige is an all-time favorite brand, and this non-jean option is very soft, making it a great summer staple. These pants would also be great for traveling – good selection here and here. There’s a wide leg style here, and there are shorts here. All so comfy and available in many different colors!
