Grab them while you can! This week’s favorites 🌸

Lately, I’ve been finding inspo everywhere I look — the pretty pink blossoms that are blooming everywhere, the days that are longer and lighter, and the temperatures here in Portland that are starting to rise. This time of year always has me bouncing around between getting a spring wardrobe together, freshening up our house for spring entertaining, and doing a little skincare/makeup switch-up. It’s all really fun, and I have a lot to share with you!

Here’s a little confession: sometimes there are just too many things I want to show you, and today is one of those days. So, this post is about a bunch of different, super cool things I think you’ll like. I’m including some home inspo, some beauty product finds, a couple of great sales, and of course spring trends we can all try. I’ve been loving this Chloe Tote. It’s practical, holds everything (and more) and when you empty it, it stands up —  a must for a great tote!

Just picked up these wide-leg jeans by Paige. In our local store, they sold out in the first few days, and so did these Frame trousers I’m wearing … but now they’re back!

Even though some sales are ending, Bloomingdales started their Friends & Family yesterday. Also, this brand new collection by Rails is SO good, and there are great new pieces on sale (see the sale board I made yesterday here).  Nordstrom is still price-matching, and I included some favorites from Bloomingdales in the board above. Coffee table book inspo

A while back, I posted about this beautiful book by John Derian on my Instagram stories, showing you how much fun it was to tear out the pages and frame them. Many of you messaged me to tell me you had purchased it … and that you loved it! Thank you 🙂  I used these Pottery Barn frames, and now all the prints are hanging in my Instagram office. And I won’t lie, it was a really nice and relaxing stay-at-home project.

Lately, I’ve been working on my bedroom, and it finally feels like it’s a grown up room! I finally replaced my estate sale bedside tables with these gorgeous chests from Serena & Lily. A huge splurge, but I’ll have them for years. Em and I are both loving dark green right now, so I added this pretty bench (above), and she picked up this new office chair. These gorgeous bedside lamps are so elegant and give off the prettiest glow, and white candles and pretty books make the space feel so warm and cozy.

 

 

Beauty favorites this week

Redken oil is a product I’ve used for several years, thanks to my dear stylist, Chachi. It’s lightweight, helps with detangling, and it has been reformulated (available here). I also consistently get asked about my eyeshadow stick — it’s this one by Bobbi Brown, and it’s one of my favorites. I use color Golden Pink for every day, and Smokey Topaz for a more dramatic eye. I love reusing old candle jars (once they’ve burned down) to hold makeup brushes and other essentials. I especially love the Diptyque “Baies” and Cire Trudon candles these because they smell great and are so pretty. Try fresh flowers in them as well — the options are endless!
