The one piece everyone needs for spring 🌸
For weeks and weeks, many of you have been asking me to share my dress finds, and since 2022 is shaping up to be the year of the dress, it’s overdue! This is the one piece everyone needs for spring. I’ve been searching for the most stylish dresses of the season, and now all my favorite websites are fully in stock. It makes sense, since we’re entering the phase where spring deliveries are at their peak! This year more than ever, dresses are everywhere — the colors are really pretty, and there are many different trends, from midi-styles to slipdresses to pretty, bright colors and beautiful prints!
Today’s post is a major dress edit, and I’m sharing with you my favorite trends as well as some brand new style board inspo. After all, what an easy (and practical) way to get dressed — one piece and you’re done! Who doesn’t love that? Add accessories, jackets, and different styles of shoes to make literally dozens of outfits with just this one piece. Printed dresses are everywhere, and they are perfect for any day time event — weddings, lunches, bridal showers, or just a nice, warm sunny day. The one I’m wearing above also comes in a shorter version which is just as stylish. The length really doesn’t matter — they’re all so pretty! Satin dresses are a trend I’m seeing everywhere these days. From the Zara Tik Tok slip dress to the Zimmerman wrap style, these dresses are widely available in very pretty colors. I recently spotted this gorgeous yellow one by Cinq á Sept, and this blue Vince one already sold out at Nordstrom but I found it for you here. This is the perfect event dress — you can dress it up or down depending on your accessories.

Since the color green is one of the hottest colors heading into spring, we’re still seeing it everywhere. Lately, I’ve been noticing many different shades of green, so find one that looks good with your skin tone, and you’ll be happy to have something bright and springy! I love both of these above, and I also spotted a few more.

The slip dress continues to be one of the hottest styles to own, and is also the most versatile. If you start with a simple, basic style like the one I’m wearing by Vince, you will find many different ways to wear it. Try a denim jacket — any wash you love — or layer a white ATM tee under it. A leather jacket looks chic and edgy, and a blazer looks elevated and cool! P.S. This Vince slip dress fits everyone — it’s forgiving and flattering due to the bias cut. I can’t say enough good things about it!

T-shirt dresses are SO easy to wear, and they are my go-to summer option. This Paige one is back in stock in navy, and the fabric is a little drapey. It’s comfortable and slightly dressier than others. This $49 one has been a top seller, and it’s really versatile — think sneakers, or to lunch with a sandal and cardigan (it runs small). Just this morning, I noticed the J.Crew one from last year is back in stock, and slightly updated — so cute!

Shirt dresses are always classic, but this year they’ve become super stylish. Try them with flat sandals, sneakers or even a block-heel sandal. So versatile, you’ll wear this style all season long.

Midi dresses are personal favorites. Long and flowy, they’re flattering on most everyone and really easy to wear. They look great with heels but can also be worn with sandals, flats, and even sneakers. This the real one and done, and it’s an important addition to any wardrobe.

Everyone needs a couple of black dresses in their wardrobe. They can be dressed up or down, and you’ll have them for years — they never go out of style. It can be as simple as a t-shirt style, or a summer version, or of course a more elevated dress (a LBD, for example) — all good to consider and you’ll be covered for every kind of event!
