10 great finds under $100: I’ve tested them all!
I’m regularly asked to share affordable and stylish pieces, and if you’ve been following me for awhile, you likely know there are a handful I talk about all the time. For example, the utility jacket above is just $54, and it’s one of the best pieces I’ve recommended in a loooong time! There’s also this bra-friendly $49 cami, and the now-famous $88 Vuori jogger. Yes, I also like some splurges, like Moncler jackets, YSL handbags, and Mother denim — but the best and most individual style comes from mixing it all together. Nordstrom.com has the best selection of affordable items and special designer pieces. Nordstrom is always the first stop when it comes to scouring for all the hot, trending items and also finding the most stylish, quality pieces available!
Today’s post features 10 great finds under $100: I’ve tested them all! As promised, I’ll never suggest an item I haven’t tried myself. I either own it or WANT to own it 😉 There are also brand new style boards that show you how to style these important pieces … hopefully they’ll give you a little inspo too. As always, feel free to message me if you have any questions … I’m always happy to help!

#1 Utility jacket
I can’t say enough about this $54 utility jacket, and it has just been re-stocked TODAY as I’m writing this post. Don’t wait on this one because it will sell out … it already has 3 times! It runs true to size (FYI the website says differently). I’m wearing an XS, and for reference that’s my usual size (or a size 4). If you want outfit inspo, check out this Reels video I made yesterday — it has a few ideas on how to style it!
#2 Cashmere/silk scarf
This past week, I spoke at a luncheon here in Portland about style tips for easy, every day outfits. (ICYMI, click here to read about it.) One of the things I discussed was the importance of a black scarf. But not just any black scarf … THIS black scarf! It’s the perfect weight, not too heavy, but just enough to add a little warmth. It’s a silk/cashmere blend, so it’s super soft. I take mine on every flight, every trip, no matter where I’m going. It also makes every fall and winter outfit that much more stylish. Everyone needs this scarf … trust me on this one!
#3 Vuori jogger
The Vuori jogger …. oh where do I begin. If you don’t own this, I highly suggest you RUN and buy it!! It’s the perfect run-around-town pant, and it looks good with so many things: a denim jacket, a leather jacket, a longer oversized coat, a puffer … I could keep going on and on. It’s perfect for travel, and it works most months of the year. If you’d like a matching hoodie, look at this one or this one. If you want to try the comfiest sweatshirt, this is a great option. This jogger literally goes with everything!
#4 Sam Edelman white sneaker
A few weeks ago, I went on a trend shopping trip to NYC and every cool girl was wearing white sneakers, with every kind of outfit: nicer dresses, blazers and black pants, and of course, denim. White sneakers are super stylish right now, and these Sam Edelmans are highly rated, comfy and popular. Of course I do love my Golden Goose, Rag & Bone and Vejas too. You just can’t go wrong with any, so pick the most comfortable ones and wear them all the time!
#5 Anine Bing t-shirt
Anine Bing makes the coolest tees, hands down! Yes, they cost a little more than some others, but you only need one to make a lots of different outfits. Wear one under a blazer, a denim jacket, a puffer, or the utility jacket above. So cool, it will up your casual game in no time!
#6 Treasure & Bond $59 sweater
After selling out last year, this cotton thermal stitch sweater is back in a few more colors! The gray is a favorite, and I really like the pink too. It works all seasons: now with skinnies like these by Madewell or these new Frame ones in écru. When the weather gets a little warmer, try it with white denim. For $59, you can’t go wrong!
#7 BB Dakota $39 knit dress
Talk about a deal! This knit dress comes in several colors and is SO comfy. It works well in the fall, and when next spring rolls around, slip on a slide sandal for an easy look. It looks good on everyone, and I bet you’ll wear it all the time!
Left: Knit dress | Fleece jacket | Chloe tote | Monica Vinader bracelet | White boot | Sunglasses | Lipstick | Right: Knit dress | Tote bag | Denim jacket | Golden Goose sneakers | Sunglasses | Earrings
#8 ATM tee
Pretty much the best white tee around! I know it’s a little more expensive than most tees, but this one is worth it. It’s shaped yet forgiving, arm flattering, and works perfectly under a blazer or with your favorite denim. I highly recommend it!
#9 Nordstrom long cardigan
Recently I was chatting with the Nordstrom store manager, and couldn’t help but notice she was wearing a longer cardigan — I just assumed it was a designer piece. But you can imagine how surprised I was after learning it was this $79 one! Ever since, I’ve been recommending it over and over again — you’ll love it.
#10 Halogen cami
This is pretty much the perfect layering piece, and if you work outside the home, it will be on serious rotation under any jacket, blazer or cardigan. I love the frayed edge detail, and since it’s bra-friendly, you don’t have to worry one bit about which bra you’re going to wear with it! I just noticed they’ve added a couple of colors — look here.
Thank you to Nordstrom for sponsoring this post, and thank you for reading! xx
