Recent hot sellers: Grab them before they’re gone!
September sure flew by! It’s hard to believe we’re in October already. I walked into my local Nordstrom yesterday, and there’s already a Christmas tree set-up (!!) — never seen that before — AND a gifting email in my inbox. Shipping delays and container issues are in the news right now, so this year it looks like “gifting prep” will come much sooner than in the past! So why not get ahead on your orders? It leaves more time to enjoy festivities, family and friends as we get closer to the holidays 🙂
Today’s post is a roundup of recent hot sellers here on So Susie. It’s one of my favorite things to look at, since I work hard at carefully selecting items to share with all of you, and it’s really exciting to see what resonates. It actually reminds me of my Nordstrom buying days … SO MUCH FUN! Things are selling out, so don’t wait too long, and start pulling your fall outfits together now for longer wearing time.
P.S. If you’re new around here and want to stay up to date on all things stylish and the bound-to-sell-out items we ALL need, then subscribe here and never miss a post! You can check out my Instagram Reels videos here.
September’s most-loved items!
Denim is the hottest category on the blog, and we’re all searching for the perfect pair! Since denim is the starting point of every single outfit, it makes sense to get this part right. The top 5 hot sellers are as follows:
Frame Le Crop Mini Boot (wearing above with the green sweater)
Mother Hustler (not pictured above – back in stock here)
Vince crop legging – not a jean but a top seller
It’s coat season! Now is the time to grab your coats and get ready for cooler weather. I recently wrote this post called “The coat edit: every style you need this fall” featuring 8 new style boards, take a look! The 3 hot sellers currently include this one from Banana Republic (my NYC purchase) — it’s unlined, but warm and super stylish. This Harris Wharf camel coat is also loved by you all, and there’s nothing that makes your fall/winter outfits look more elevated than a camel coat! Lastly, vests are everywhere, and this Moncler one made the list too.
We love blouses, and especially ones with a little interest like this Frame leopard print blouse. It’s a popular one, and the pretty puff sleeve is a nice detail. This Reformation style called “Violet” is also a good one — it runs small so size up. Lastly, Halogen has been making some designer looking styles, and this one with a stripe is fun for a night out!
We’re just starting to pull out our sweaters, and for a simple, everyday basic, these Nordstrom cashmere sweaters are the best. Plus, they make amazing gifts for anyone in your family – who doesn’t love a cashmere sweater? This J.Crew polo style is a favorite on So Susie, and last year it sold out, so don’t wait on this one. I recently featured this Banana Republic cashmere hoodie and matching legging, and they quickly made the list too!
It’s time to update your jewelry!! This is something I’m also working on since I’ve basically worn the same Poppy Finch necklace for three years straight! I recently switched it up for this new Bony Levy necklace, and also added this chain link ring, and this one too. Stay tuned because in a couple of weeks, I’m heading to LA and meeting Bony himself, and I will be sharing more about this amazing jewelry line, exclusive to Nordstrom!
Four shoes made the hot seller list, including these Loeffler Randall booties in this gorgeous brown color. They’ve already sold out at Nordstrom, which only has black currently, but I found them here for you in brown. This pointy toe bootie is a great basic and goes with many outfits. I recently picked up these new Rag & Bone black sneakers – so cool and comfy running for around NYC (and home!). Lastly, these Jeffrey Campbell slides were a stylist favorite with all my Nordstrom6 friends when we visited the Nordstrom store in San Diego … and they’re well priced.
This is the time of year to refresh your pj’s, just as we head into fall. I love it when I find a pair that’s comfy and cute, and this leopard style has been on constant repeat lately, both at home and during travel. It also comes in a short version here, and just today I saw a new print as well that’s super cute! For another option, the Honeydew All American Pj’s are also really really good, and well priced too.

I had to include a few hot sellers that don’t fit in any category because they’re SO GOOD! The Cinq a Sept blazer, for example, is a pretty ivory color and is perfect any time of year (it runs big, so size down). This green slip dress has been a client favorite, and so has this brand new Anine Bing Paris tee. Three great choices for a new blazer, dress and t-shirt!
