This morning, while sipping coffee in bed, I received a text message from a good friend that said “Anniversary cashmere sweaters just arrived!” I love texts like this 😉 With only two days left of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, this never happens. As a previous Nordstrom Buyer, I know how hard the buying teams work to make sure all merchandise arrives WELL BEFORE the sale starts. But this year, due to shipping challenges, many items have continued to trickle in, like these best-selling cashmere sweaters and this plaid blazer. You’ll want to scoop these up before they go back to regular price tomorrow evening!
Today’s post has the inside scoop, like which cashmere sale pieces to grab first, and other favorite items that are so good you’ll want them in every color. Nordstrom Cashmere

The prices are very reasonable, and right now there are several pieces on sale. As I noted above, this sweater was just delivered to stores yesterday! I wear this style all year long, and wore the black one on the plane to Hawaii and back. They make perfect gifts, or grab one or two for yourself. Here are the best pieces:

I usually don’t believe in buying multiple colors of one item. My theory is to pick one color and wear it all the time. But … there are exceptions! The other day my client texted saying she broke the “Susie Rule” and bought three colors of this J.Crew dress. Well I can see why — even I want a second color!
5 favorites you’ll want in every color!
ATM t-shirt – So so good. It runs pretty true to size, and for reference I have both the XS and S, but I prefer the smaller size. It’s super flattering on everyone! Vuori jogger – A true wardrobe and travel staple. Of course black is the color to own, but check out their new colors and their matching zip up hoodie. I’ve written about these a thousand times! Vince Camuto sandals – These designer-inspired sandals are so well priced, it’s worth grabbing them in a couple of colors. Nordstrom cardigans – My Nordstrom friend who loves everything designer was wearing this sweater the other day. It looked so elegant, you’d never know it was only $79! This linen blend one is the perfect summer cardigan, and is an amazing buy for $69.J.Crew cardigans – The Juliette is a top seller, and I just noticed this new red color – SO pretty. I also love the Sophie. Both of these come in many colors. And of course, you can never go wrong with black!
J.Crew new arrivals
J.Crew tiered dress | Loewe straw bag | Dior sandals | Baseball hat This dress has been a favorite, and I probably should have included it above since I’m considering a second color too! I always love when J.Crew gets a new shipment, and of course it’s important to be selective and just grab a few meaningful pieces. For anyone looking for a last minute summer dress, this brand new one is super cute. These New Balance sneakers in the sand color sold out but now they’re back in stock. Also spotted this cashmere polo that completely sold out last year, and then there’s this comfy oversized cardigan. Check it all out here!
5 NSale (new) finds still in stock

With two days to shop the NSale, I did a quick scour to see what’s still in stock that you should check out. There are always things I didn’t notice at first, like this L’Agence cardigan that is perfect over any slip dress. There are also a few beauty tools like the GloPro and NuFace which you’ll be so happy to own in the months to come. They also make great gifts, my daughter informed me she’d like this one!

Coats/jackets – this faux fur one, this NEW plaid blazer, and this double face wool coat — all super cute!
Black Boots – These weatherproof Aquatalia, these wearable platforms by La Canadienne, Frame Chelsea boots and these everyday Chelsea boots by Rag & Bone — all staples you’ll wear through fall and winter
Barefoot dreams – this lightweight cardigan might be my favorite Nsale purchase (!!) I’m wearing it while writing this post. Also these blankets make great gifts
Lingerie – I noticed this Natori feathers bra (3.3k reviews) is still in stock, and so is this one by Wacoal. Don’t forget new panties, like these Natori Bliss thongs and these Chantelle soft stretch comfy panties — both personal favorites!
Zella active – This quilted coat was just re-stocked and SO GOOD! The jogger is still in stock and has over 1k near-perfect reviews, it’s a good one. There are also these live-in-leggings, which might be the number one item on the whole sale. Check it all out here.

Since good denim is the key to every great wardrobe, I’m always looking for the next amazing pair. I may have found it at Anthropologie, where I picked up a new Mother jean and a pair from the cool girl brand AGOLDE. Also tried on a Veronica Beard skinny that I liked, and of course the Paige Cindy is everyone’s new favorite fit!
