These travel tips are total game changers!

After almost two years of not going anywhere, I’m in major vacation mode! I bet some of you are too 🙂 I caught the travel bug early on … back when I was 4. My parents shipped me off to England for the summer (alone!!) to visit my grandparents, and that was when I first felt the thrill of traveling. And, although we didn’t have a lot of money growing up (artist mom and professor dad), traveling to visit family was always a priority. According to major news reports, the world is preparing for a travel rebound — and major brands are investing in resort wear! How exciting is that?

In today’s post, I’m excited to share some travel tips that are total game-changers. I wish I’d known about them earlier! I’ll cover cool, comfy travel day style, and a packing capsule idea that works for most everyone Think neutral colors that mix and match to make lots and lots of outfits for easy packing. I hope you get an idea or two for your next vacation!

P.S. If you’re new around here and want to stay up to date on all things stylish and the bound-to-sell-out items we ALL need, thensubscribe here and never miss a post! You can check out my Instagram Reels videos here.

Airport style is back!

Now that we’re all heading out, it’s time to up our travel day outfits. I’m talking about being super comfortable (i.e. Vuori joggers), but also looking stylish along the way. Having fun accessories, like this nylon leopard bag and some cool sneakers, is a good place to start. Don’t forget a scarf — this black one goes on every single trip with me — even if I’m going somewhere scorching hot!

The travel necessities

They make all the difference

These are two of the game-changers: a not-black suitcase you can actually spot in baggage claim, and packing cubes that keep you organized. Run and buy these if you don’t own them and thank me later 🙂 Additional items include a pill case, jewelry organizer (love) and a cosmetic bag (I bought this one) where you can actually see what you brought!

Try sticking to a few neutral colors

Consider packing a tight group of things in specific colors like black, white, denim, and maybe a touch of leopard. Not only are these colors sophisticated, bu they will make loads of outfits. I tried it on a recent trip, and it worked!

Look good around the pool

It’s easier than you think

Having one good coverup is all you really need, and then one or two stylish swimsuits. Add cute sandals, a straw tote, and a great hat of course. You’ll look and feel pool/beach ready — whether it’s swimming or just lounging!

Stock up your cosmetics bag

Travel minis are the only way to go

Did you know many of our favorite beauty items also come in mini sizes? For example, Nordstrom.com has 657 items on their site — everything from Giorgio Armani foundation, to Olaplex shampoo, to the best selling Nars ‘Orgasm’ blush. Check it out, because nothing is better than having your cosmetics bag ready to go at a moments notice!
