Beauty winners: You’re gonna want these!

Last year, in early spring, an exciting opportunity from Ulta landed in my lap: to be included in their upcoming campaign as one of 50 influencers across the country (one per state). Ulta is a very progressive company, and everyone was represented in this amazing group of 50! It was a great experience, and one of the perks was receiving endless (and I mean endless) products to try. Boxes arrived several times a week from favorite brands like Kate Somerville, Tula, Benefit, Kiehl’s and more!

I share this with you because while I’m not by any means a makeup artist or a beauty expert, I’ve tested a lot of product this past year. So, today’s post is about beauty winners that you just can’t go wrong trying out! In the #Beautyempties sections, there are favorites I’ve used until the very last drop. There are also some new discoveries, a few useful tools, and tips on how to get summer-ready. I hope you like it, and if you have any suggestions, please message me because there’s always room in my beauty drawer! 😊

P.S. If you’re new around here and want to stay up to date on all things stylish, subscribe here and never miss a post! As a thank you, you’ll receive my exclusive #Summer5 list — 5 summer items, styled 15 different ways, available only to subscribers. Join me now!

#Beautyempties: Everyday makeup

Those items that are too good to not refill

The only foundation I recommend is Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk. It’s a natural looking, creamy, medium-coverage foundation that leaves your skin glowy and even-toned. It gets amazing reviews, and it won an Allure Best of Beauty award. Not sure which color to pick? Head over to Giorgio Armani Beauty, where you can upload your photo and virtually “try-on” different shades (for reference, I wear color 5.5). It’s a really cool process, and fun too!

Many of you ask me about concealer. Well, I love Charlotte Tilbury Magic-Away (color 3), which has great coverage and is so creamy that it doesn’t settle in your fine lines. The key to blending it in perfectly is to use this brush. Charlotte Tilbury Flawless Finish Powder is literally like an Instagram Filter for your face (I wear color medium). It blurs imperfections and leaves you looking air-brushed and smooth. These products are magic, I promise!

This Laura Mercier Eye Caviar Stick is an easy one to apply every day, along with this eyeliner and this mascara — I’ve gone through a lot of these 3 items! And back to Charlotte Tilbury, I just replenished this blush. Kidman’s Kiss lipstick pairs perfectly with this Bobbi Brown lip liner and this Chanel lipgloss.

These are the products I use most often in my everyday makeup routine, and trust me, you can’t go wrong with any of them!

#Beautyempties: Everyday favorites

I use these on repeat

This Colleen Rothschild Cleansing Balm is incredible. When used with the included muslin cloth, it’s like a spa for your face! This First Aid Beauty moisturizer was a gift, and so far everyone in the family loves it — to the tune of three jars (and more on order). I recently replenished the SLIP silk scrunchies because, well, you know how quickly those disappear!

I can’t begin to tell you how many Le Labo Santal 26 and Diptyque Baies candles I’ve gone through — LOVE! Clarins Eye Makeup Remover is another can’t-live-without fave, and SkinCeuticals CE Ferulic and  Perricone Eye Plasma cream are both part of my daily evening routine.

The First Aid Beauty Coconut Primer is an absolute favorite, and I’m down to the last couple of drops before it needs replenishing. And lastly the Redken Diamond Oil Glow Dry is something I use every single morning before drying my hair – I’ve gone through 5 bottles in the last few years. Not only does it smell SO good, it also leaves my hair nice and smooth.

Essential Beauty Tools

Brushes, at-home devices, and the best hair dryer on the market

The BeautyBio GloPro is a microneedling device I swear by. It’s easy to use, and many dermatologists recommend it.  I use this foundation/concealer brush every day, and this brush for applying blush. A silk pillowcase is said to be anti-aging, so I sleep one one every night – and it feels so luxurious 🙂

Get summer ready

Everything you need for fun in the sun

Supergoop! is always a go-to for sun protection. I use Unseen Sunscreen, this mineral powder and this glow screen. Tom Ford Soleil Blanc is a favorite summer fragrance — I’ve used the Body Spray, this travel-size fragrance, and this glowy oil, and they’re all great. If you use self-tanner, St. Tropez is a good one — but don’t forget the mitt! I want to try Tan Luxe drops … I’ve heard it’s also good, and based on the reviews, everyone loves it.

Great New Discoveries

I’m always on the lookout for new things

Diptyque Orphéon is a new fragrance that will transport you straight to Paris. I’m in love and splurged on a bottle!

Tom Ford Rose Prick is another newcomer to my fragrance collection — and it’s SO good! Not rose heavy at all … this one is really, really special

I finally found a lotion that has a lighter scent – it’s by Kiehl’s – and I think you’ll love it!

Recently I tried the brand Alastin, and I’ve been faithfully been using their Restorative Neck Complex since I’m starting to focus more on neck care (probably should have started that a while ago). And the last time I had a little Botox, I tried their post-injection serum and it really helped!
