Room 3 Report: its been a minute!

Frame shirt | Mother denim | Schutz sandals

Welcome back, Room 3 Report: its been a minute!

My work office, or “Room 3,” is actually … a dressing room! It’s where I meet clients and friends to help them figure out which clothes to buy and how to wear them. Over the years in Room 3, hundreds of friendships have been formed, secrets told, job changes announced, tears and laughter shared … oh, and clothes, lots and lots of clothes 😊  But, while the satisfaction of helping you all goes WAY beyond the actual clothes, we do get pretty excited when we find new things we love!

Since I try on clothes for a living (among other things), and I take mirror selfies along the way, I thought it would be a good idea to continue sharing my best finds with you! This past week, I quickly tried on some favorites and snapped a bunch of photos. Please excuse all the unedited (mostly) and imperfect ones. It’s only after I’m home, scrolling through them all, that I notice things like sensors and tags, or a little mess in the background!

Here’s the eighth edition of the Room 3 Report: what’s new and what caught my eye! If you ever have any questions about sizing, fit, color, anything — please contact me. I’m always happy to help!

#1 Rails tops

Left: White shirt | Right: Pink shirt | Anine Bing tee – under

Rails is a favorite brand, and everything looks SO good right now! The pink shirt came home with me and is also not online yet (argh), but since it will likely sell out, I’ve linked it here. And, you’ll love this white popover shirt — it’s roomy, but you can either knot the front or tuck it in! Both are great!

Denim note: I’m wearing the Mother Dazzler from last year – size 26. The wash is called Confession and there are similar versions here, and here. and You can see the wash works with everything since I’m wearing them in all the photos!

#2 Veronica Beard dress

Veronica Beard dress

Ohhh how I love Veronica Beard, and their collection just keeps getting better! This dress is so cute, and can be worn with these Schutz sandals or any neutral one. Layer a cardigan or this blazer over for extra warmth. I also tried on the other dresses above and love them too – All SO good! See this Reels video.

#3 Frame tops

Frame stripe top | Frame ruffle top

The striped top I’m wearing is super versatile. Pair it with black denim and a contrasting bag. It also works well with white denim, and of course, faded blue (like I’m wearing above). Other pieces by Frame that caught my eye are this striped tee, this ruffle dress, this ruffle blouse and this cute romper. You can’t go wrong here, and while these pieces are a little spendy, they’re classic enough you’ll love them for years.

#4 Rails denim dress

Rails denim dress

Rails dresses are perfect for spring and summer. They’re pretty enough for any event, like lunch or an evening outing, and they work with sneakers to sandals. I like the fact that they aren’t very fancy. In other words, you could wear them wine tasting and not feel too dressed up! And here’s a plus: the fabrics are really soft.

#5 Paige joggers

Allsaints tee | Paige Christy pant | Similar sandals

I tried these on last summer, but I didn’t purchase them for some unknown reason … until now! I had a hard time deciding between this green pair or this charcoal one, but after lots of thought I landed on the charcoal ones. They’re being hemmed so stay tuned to get styling ideas! These often sell out – I found them at Nordstrom or Shopbop.

#6 Spring Coats

Left: Harris Wharf coat | Gucci bag | Black denim | Older shoes | Right: Max Mara coat

Harris Wharf is an elevated coat brand that uses the finest Italian wool. They’re perfect for spring because they are unlined, making them super versatile, with the feel of a lightweight jacket. This sand color is a favorite, and it will complete literally hundreds of your outfits! The blue Max Mara caught my eye the day it rolled in. It’s unlined, making it the perfect spring coat! Check out other Max Mara coats under $1500 here.

#7 AllSaints padded tee and Halogen cardigan

Halogen cardigan | Brinker & Eliza bracelet | Mother denim | Similar sandals | Rag & Bone belt | Allsaints tee

Padded tees are everywhere this season, and this AllSaints style is reasonably priced, making it a good way to try the trend. There are more colors here. The Halogen cardigan is a wardrobe staple, and it’s seriously the best $69 you’ll ever spend. It’s a good one!

#8 Club Monaco coat

Club Monaco tan trench | Club Monaco plaid trench

Club Monaco is a brand I often check out — there are always a few pieces I love, including this fun plaid trench and this camel trench. I’ve linked the plaid coat here because it’s not online at Nordstrom yet but it’s too cute not to share!

#9 Rails sundress

Rails sundress

As I mentioned above, Rails makes some of my favorite dresses for spring and summer. This one has adjustable straps and a drawstring waist. Pair with sandals or sneakers for a cute and easy look!

Thank you for reading! xx
