It’s official: These were the hottest items this month!
When I first started this blog a couple of years ago, the initial plan was simply to share street style inspo — I NEVER intended to be pictured in every post! Well, fast forward to now, and it feels like I’m doing my dream job every day 🙂 Turns out my buying skills have actually come in handy; I love scouring the internet and curating what I think are some of the best items you will love. It’s reminiscent of my old Nordstrom buying days, when we would eagerly wait for the numbers, just to see what sold — and we did this every single day. It’s one of the thrills of being a buyer: when you pick right, it feels really good!
So … when I started analyzing what you all loved this month, I decided it was worth sharing. Many of these items are still available, and some are even on sale. My suggestion is that if any of them catch your eye, grab them now. If you wait too long, the best ones will be gone!
P.S. If you’re new around here and want to stay up to date on all things stylish, subscribe here and never miss a post! As a thank you, you’ll receive my exclusive #Spring5 list — 5 spring items, styled 15 different ways, available only to subscribers. Join me now!
Varley is the cool, elevated loungewear brand to own right now. For their aesthetic, Varley activewear (shop here and here) seeks to “blend London’s cosmopolitan elegance with LA’s active lifestyle.” This style board was one of three recent exclusive style boards available for subscribers (subscribe here). I love how versatile this piece is, so it’s no wonder it’s a top seller this month. Some sizes are still available at Revolve, Anthropologie, and at Nordstrom (in black, here).
#2 White t-shirts
Pretty much a staple in our wardrobes, these three were the winners! The ATM schoolboy tee is a little more expensive, but is worth it in my opinion. As matter of fact, this past week in Arizona with my Nordstrom stylist friends, I think 3 of us were wearing one! This 1 State was also a top seller, and so was this one by Veronica Beard. There aren’t many left, but I found them here, here and here.
This trench is an amazing piece. It’s not a coat — it’s actually a part of your outfit, kind of like a jacket. Mine is several years old, so when I spotted this one a few weeks ago, I knew I had to share! The only other one that rivals it is this one by Theory. Definitely better quality and with a bit weightier fabric — but it’s also 5 times the price. Don’t wait because it’ll be gone before you know it!
#4 J.Crew cardigans
I know, I’ve been going on and on about these, but they really are so good! My preference is to combine them with good jeans (any of the favorites like Paige, Frame or Mother) and a stylish sandal to keep the outfit looking elevated and fresh. There’s a cardigan recap here!
Juliette – Nice lighter weight, and runs really big. Like one or two sizes big. I’m wearing an xxs
Sophie – A tiny bit heavier in weight, and not as oversized. I’m wearing a size xs
Ella – A little heavier in weight, even compared to the Sophie. It runs really big — I wear an xxs and STILL had to take it in on the sides!
Camille – A brand new sweater blazer. It’s a lighter weight, similar to the Juliette. It runs true to size, I’m wearing an xs in yesterday’s Reels video.
#5 Rails dress and shirt
Rails is another favorite brand, especially this time of year! This dress was a top seller and has sold out from Nordstrom and many other places, but I found it here and here. This shirt was also on the list and it’s super cute with white denim!
I really can’t think of an easier coverup that’s not only stylish, but also elegant and effortless. It’s really versatile and pretty much goes with every swimsuit. I like the sleeves pushed up … add a fun bracelet or two! I just spotted this new eyelet version – so pretty!
Pretty much the best shoe ever! I mean, it goes with everything from denim to dresses. It’s the perfect heel height (not too high) and it’s comfy and stylish. Nordstrom does carry it, but it’s often out of stock, so I recommend getting it straight from Schutz here. The square-toed version is new this year, and my Nordstrom friend has it and loves!
This is such a pretty blouse, and it looks great with denim and even better with anything white!
This shoe is the perfect color, and it’s in my shopping bag. The caramel shoe/bag combo was also on the Essential spring style boards (click here to subscribe and receive all 15 – if you aren’t already subscribed)! The caramel color goes with every single thing and elevates all your outfits, I promise!
This stylish, eye-catching dress sold out right away last year, but many of you had asked me about it — so when I spotted it several weeks ago, I knew you’d be excited too! It runs a little narrow on the top. I’m wearing a petite small, and the length is perfect.
#12 Anthropologie dresses
