Spring Dresses you’ll wear 24/7!
The minute the weather warms up, dresses become the easiest go-to in our closets. I’m talking simple, dress up or dress down, throw-it-on-on-your-way-out-the-door dresses! This past week I was in Scottsdale, Arizona and wore this fun one out to dinner. I also packed this one and this one, but the weather didn’t cooperate, and I ended up wearing my Target sweatshirt half the time! Well — not really — but thank goodness I brought these jeans and this denim jacket, because the hot sunny weather I expected appeared the day after I left 😉
Today’s post is about casual, spring dresses you’ll wear 24/7, with shoes like flip flops or sneakers or even a block heel sandal. Depending on the weather, you can go for a t-shirt dress like this Sundry style (I wore in Italy in 100 degree weather) or a a t-shirt style like this one by Z Supply (another favorite brand). Keep reading for my latest round up, I’m sure you’ll find a few you’ll like!
P.S. I’ve been working really hard my Pinterest boards, and I’d love to know what you think. And, if you’re new around here and want to stay up to date on all things stylish and the hot new items we ALL need, then subscribe here and never miss a post! You can also follow me on Instagram here.

This knit polo dress by Frank & Eileen is so easy, you’ll wear it all the time
I know the Dior slides are a splurge, but they’ll go with everything and you’ll wear them for years
Little black dresses
When you can’t think of anything to wear, black always works. Recently, while doing “blog research,” I discovered I had come home with three casual dresses — all black! Got this one by Paige, this tiered one I wore in Arizona with a denim jacket covering most of it, and this one too. You just can’t go wrong!
Some people worry at the thought of a t-shirt dress — will it be too clingy and not flattering? However, this does NOT have to be the case. Z Supply is a favorite brand, and this dress is a best seller. You might also like this one by Sundry – in black here — I wore mine on repeat over the last couple of summers!
Definitely this season’s trend — I found this dress at Anthropologie and it comes in petite sizing, which is great for those of us who are 5’4″ and under. Typically this style is hard to wear in longer lengths unless you’re tall. If you want a shorter version, there are many options to choose from, like this one or this one.
Shirt dresses are a really versatile style, and they work with sneakers as well as higher heeled shoes. You might like the J.Crew ones, and these by Frank & Eileen are good ones too. I’ve also been spotting some fuller skirted styles, like this one and this one (I have it in my shopping cart to try). Might be too much, I’ll keep you posted 😉
Talk about elegant and reminiscent of Palm Springs pool days in the 60’s! I always thought they were only for tall people … then I found one last year and wore it around the house ALL THE TIME! I’m sorry it’s no longer available (I looked everywhere), but I found several new options here I think you’ll love!
