These 7 pieces will update your workout wardrobe!
Yep, it’s that time of year when many of us go all out and start exercising like crazy after packing on a few extra lbs, or just plain blowing off our routines … but for me, this year is going to be different. Just before Christmas, as I was heading off to do a little gift shopping, I could tell my blood pressure was really elevated. Well, a half hour later I was in the doctor’s office, and he looked me straight in the eye (like 5 times) and said “not exercising is no longer an option.” I share this because while I’m gonna be fine, just because we eat well or maintain a healthy weight doesn’t mean those pesky family genetics won’t get in the way. Soooo … if you see me out walking the hills and instagramming about it, it’s my way of holding myself accountable!
What will help inspire us to restart that all-important exercise routine? A few cute, updated and stylish workout pieces of course! Keep reading for 7 key pieces to own to make this a fun, attainable goal. Here’s to a happy, healthy New Year!

Yesterday’s Reels Video
Also shown in yesterday’s video was this long sleeve t-shirt (I was wearing a gray size 4), this brand new Wacoal Sport Bra, which you will absolutely love, this cream puffer coat from Abercrombie, and camo leggings in the deep coal color from Lululemon.
The 7 pieces that will update your workout wardrobe
#1 – 7/8 leggings
I just replaced my older, and tired-looking leggings with the top selling Align legging from Lululemon. Since I’m 5’1″, I went with the 25″ and I noticed the sizes run from 0-20, which is amazing. These are so soft, and are hands down the best legging to purchase at Lululemon. These Nike leggings are also amazing, and the Zella Live-in legging at Nordstrom has over 7,000 reviews. Be sure and check out this new Zella jogger legging. I brought a pair home and love them already!
#2 – Hoodies and sweatshirts
#3 – Jackets
I finally splurged on this Lululemon jacket which is super flattering because it’s a little longer in the back. It’s also lightweight and very slimming. For a deal, look at this vest and jacket from Walmart.
#4 – Sneakers
#5 – Sports bra
#6 – Sporty bag
#7 – Sunnies
It might sound silly, but wearing glamorous sunglasses when out walking can make you feel SO much better – especially if you roll out of bed like I do and hope to not run into anyone you know! I forgot to mention that a hat is helpful too.
