The best holiday selection is now! This week’s inspo🎄

The best holiday selection is now! Plus, this week’s inspo

For many of us, the holidays this year will be kind of a low-key celebration and most likely spent at home. But we can still add a little sparkle to feel pretty and a bit festive, can’t we? I know I’ll probably be wearing denim on the bottom half and possibly even slippers 😂. Here are some ideas on how to be kinda dressy but kinda cozy at the same time. The goal: a cozy, chic Christmas!

This week, I’ll be making sure our house is extra festive, as well doing a little self-care, and of course thinking about which clothes we’ll want to wear then the calendar turns to 2021. Can’t wait for a new year! Keep reading for some great holiday finds, home decor and self-care tips, and some other fun things I think you’ll like. Cheers!

P.S. We’ve had a little explosion of growth lately, so if you’re new around here and want to stay up to date on all things stylish and the bound-to-sell-out items we ALL need, then subscribe here and never miss a post! Also, my daughter Emily has been hard at work creating blog posts I think you’ll like. We added Em’s Picks to the website, check it out here.

My home

Blue & white chinoiserie jar | White urn | Orange branches | Wicker basket | Marble cutting board | Pewter pheasants, similar | Anthropologie champagne glasses | Aerin Lauder green drink ware, sold out

This past week, I participated in a virtual home tour with a local design store, City Home PDX. Nothing like a deadline to inspire some house rearranging 🙂 To see more of my home and others, check out this IGTV.

Right now, our family is wrapping gifts with the cutest wrapping paper by Sugar Paper, available at Target. We also bought this wicker tree collar, and the other day when picking up our favorite hot chocolate, I treated myself to this cute mug! If you need any other home gift ideas, this book is a favorite, and this Tory Burch candle is unique and very pretty. Lastly, this Laguiole cheese knife set is a thoughtful gift for a home chef.

New holiday finds

Anthropologie sequin top | 7 for all Mankind coated denim | Sam Edelman shoe | Anthropologie wine glass

We love sequins, but this year maybe skip the dresses and look for more casual pieces. This “Cheers” sweatshirt (above – runs small) just arrived and will sell out quickly like it did last year, and so will this fun t-shirt. Just picked up this wear-into-spring turtleneck by Veronica Beard that has a silver lurex stripe — pretty sure you’ll love it (limited sizes here too). There are also some super cute pieces at Anthropologie, including this green sequined skirt and this duster. Be sure and check out this post for some other festive finds and cozy chic Christmas ideas.

Beauty Favorites – on sale!

Right now at Nordstrom, there are 3,470 beauty products being price-matched. This rarely happens, so now is the time to make any gift purchases and pick up your own favorites. There’s a lot to choose from, like everyone’s favorite Jo Malone, Creed and Tom Ford perfume. In the makeup department, I’d grab the Giorgio Armani foundation – it’s the best! Also been wanting to try the Augustinus Bader cream,  and there’s so so much more — check it all out here. If you need more beauty ideas, read this post!

This J.Crew Juliette cardigan is a favorite, and I just noticed it’s at the lowest price it has been all season. It works perfectly all year around, and runs roomy. You all know I love J.Crew staples, including these cashmere sweaters, this Sophie cardigan and this recent purchase.

Thank you for reading! xx
