My journey in fashion began over 25 years ago as a Portland-based buyer for Nordstrom in New York City. After a decade of doing this work and developing a solid grasp of market demands, I learned that you need the key pieces that really work well together and that you can wear over and over again. This past weekend, I spent hours in my bedroom filming an Instagram Reels video where I attempted to create a Splurge vs. Steals segment. While it didn’t come off exactly as I planned (!), these two sweater dresses seemed to catch everyone’s attention. And since sweater dresses are going to be one of winter’s top dress trends — and the comfiest — I decided to do a little “blog research” and share some of the new finds I think you’ll love! (In case you missed this sweater dress post from last week, check it out here … it’s a good one!)
P.S. Both dresses above run a little big. For reference, I’m wearing a petite small in the grey one, and the pretty lilac one from J.Crew is a regular size xxs. Don’t wait because the grey Anthropologie dress has just been restocked.

J.Crew sweater dress
This cozy sweater dress is the same one I'm wearing above ... except how gorgeous is this brown color? As of this writing, it's on sale for less than $80. Don't wait on this one!
This fun Rag & Bone bag is very reminiscent of the Fendi Peek-a-Boo which retails for over 2K. I'm loving white right now, and this bag works with every single outfit. It's brand new and not a summer bag. Check it out!
This is a classic t-shirt knit dress for winter. The color works nicely into early spring, so you'll wear it for many months to come. Style it with chunky boots like the Marc Fishers below, or with sneakers. You'll have this one for years to come!
