The 5 best takeaways from my trip to Seattle!
I just spent a weekend in Seattle with one of my Nordstrom 6 besties. Boy did we have fun shopping and doing “blog research” together! We spent two full days at the flagship downtown Nordstrom store, running around in pj’s, spritzing on perfume, and making IG lives for you!
What were the takeaways you ask? Well, cashmere is still a luxe classic, loungewear and coats are fully stocked, and I discovered the hottest fragrance that’s flying off the shelf right now. Keep reading for the 5 best takeaways from my trip to Seattle!

#1 You can’t go wrong with cashmere

The thing is, cashmere is cashmere. Sure, it’s a bit expensive, but you get what you pay for. It’s luxurious, soft and comfy, and it will always be in style. Receiving cashmere as a gift is such a treat! My takeaway: if you want a great color selection, check out these styles by J.Crew. If you want long lasting, super soft, and flattering (thanks to the side slits), the go-to is Halogen. Both are $98, pick your favorite!
#2 Loungewear and cozy pj’s? Yes please

I’m not joking — there is an amazing selection of coats available right now, and you may have seen them on my Instagram stories. I’m a little partial to coats since I was a Nordstrom Coat Buyer, and I’m telling you this is the best selection you’ll see the entire season. These will sell out, trust me … so hurry!

#4 Price matching on fragrance? This almost never happens!
There’s a fragrance that’s flying off the shelves, and now I know why. It’s by Maison Francis Kurkdjian, and it’s called Baccarat Rouge 540. It’s sophisticated and complex, and it’s SO good, I can’t really describe it — you’ll have to try it yourself! As I often recommend with an expensive fragrance, get it in the body oil or body cream first. So many fragrances are being price-matched at Nordstrom, which is rare!
