Age doesn’t matter when it comes to style!
I’ve said it many times over the years, but I still believe age doesn’t matter when it comes to style. We can all be youthful in style. For example, we all (younger and older) purchase the same denim; yet we can style it differently and still look and feel good! In fact, I’ve noticed that my daughter “steals” from me all the time. These days when something goes missing, I immediately accuse Emily, only to find it later in my own pile of things!! 😂 However, I know I’m not alone because some of my friends with daughters are experiencing the same thing. Who would have thought??
Today’s post is all about the things we love, and specifically, the things Em regularly “steals” from me (I kind of take it as a compliment). I don’t know about you guys, but I rarely swiped anything from my mom. I guess styles are different these days, and we’re all more youthful in style!

#3 Candles
We both adore candles. For birthdays and Christmas, I make sure to buy her favorite Anthropologie candle or this one by Boy Smells. And before I know it, it’s gone, and she’s back in my room swiping my favorite Diptyque, Jo Malone or Le Labo! Here are the candles we love. (Click image to shop)
#4 Jeans
How convenient that we both happen to wear the same size in jeans. Faves include Mother, Levi’s, Paige and Frame. Here are several styles we wear on repeat (or ones we want)!

#5 Jewelry
Emily often “borrows” my jewelry. Her favorites seem to be Monica Vinader bracelets like this one or this one, and for awhile she wore my beloved Poppy Finch every day. Thankfully I have that one back now, which might explain why I’ve worn it in every single photo over the past year!

#6 Blazers
I often wear my blazer during the day over a t-shirt and jeans – it’s definitely a go-to outfit for me. And lately I’ve noticed Emily wearing her blazer out at night, which proves it’s an important and versatile piece for both day or night. While I prefer more fitted blazers, she’s favoring oversized blazers right now. So far she’s stayed away from my Veronica Beard one, which I wear often. Here are our current blazer picks!
