I’ve been trying a few new things — everything from soft pj’s to the comfiest, crazy-inexpensive dress to a facial cleansing balm — and because they’re SO GOOD, I must share! I’ll start with the $49 dress I’m wearing above. It caught my eye immediately upon my landing at the top of the store escalator! Not only is it very well priced, but it looks exactly like the ATM one I was wearing in this photo while visiting wine country last year. I would seriously consider grabbing it in black and possibly a second color like the black/white stripe or camo. Trust me, it’s a good one! (btw, I had mine shortened a couple of inches.) I have a theory: when you “splurge” and buy even one new workout piece, it motivates you to work out! This may not be true for everyone, but it sure helps me. Petites will be excited to discover Lululemon’s 25″ inseam, which means no hemming for those of us with a shorter frame. Try purchasing a matching bra and workout pant, then you can throw on any kind of tee and you have a “new” outfit! This stylish camo print works with all colors, and is available in other colors as well. Lately, when venturing out on my neighborhood walks, I’ve been wearing this belt bag to carry keys, phone and other necessities. So handy! Here are a few other things I have my eye on!
#2 New beauty products

I think it’s safe to say most of us love beauty products! Charlotte Tilbury is an all-time favorite brand and I still use it daily (I wrote about it here). I’ve been receiving so many beauty products (I feel so lucky), and there are a handful that are really, really good. Colleen Rothschild is new to my collection, and they kindly sent me a care package which arrived on my birthday 🙂 While I’m still trying everything out, the Cleansing Balm feels like a “mini-spa” and apparently, based on all your messages, many of you love it too — I’m late to the party on this one!
A few other noteworthy finds are Beekman 1802 goat milk products, and other clean beauty favorites like this new deodorant, Beauty Counter oil cleanser, and this dreamy Body Oil by French perfume Maison Francis Kurkdjian – my new favorite fragrance!
#3 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale – ends soon

It’s the last week of the Nordstrom Sale – and there are still many great pieces left! Some of the Vince best-sellers have been re-stocked, like this cashmere hoodie, which was a favorite since day 1. It’s the perfect weight to layer under jackets or coats. Also, if you haven’t picked up this stretchy Vince pant, it’s worth considering. It fits everyone, and is stylish AND comfy! #4 Room 3 try-ons

The other day, I snuck onto Room 3 and tried on a handful of brand new things. Stay tuned for a full report soon, but here’s a peek for now! This blazer came home with me – I love a good blazer and this one was only $98 – plus it’s stretchy, making it extra comfortable. AllSaints makes THE BEST leather jackets; I combined one with this red camo tee for a touch of color. Think I’ll be wearing this pretty much constantly through the fall! It’s an easy, go-to outfit for looking stylish and polished.
#5 Comfy pj’s
These are officially my new favorite pajamas! So comfy, these Honeydew pj’s wash up nicely and they’re reasonably priced. I don’t know about you, but I’m super picky when it comes to sleeping — I need pants and short sleeves, so this checked all the boxes! They come in different versions here. You can’t go wrong with anything from this brand!
