#1 Shirt dresses

Recently I walked into Zara and picked up this pretty floral shirt dress that looks way more expensive than its $69 price tag. I mean, anything with a toile pattern pretty much stops me in my tracks. I love the fabric so much, I’m seriously considering buying an extra dress and making face coverings or pillows! This one runs a little small in the bust area and I’m wearing the XS.

Shirt dresses are stylish and really versatile; they can be dressed up or down with the right accessories. Fashionable celebrities like Meghan Markle and Gigi Hadid have been wearing them this summer, which proves this trend isn’t going away anytime soon!

#2 Sweater over the shoulder

I started seeing this trend pop up over a year ago, and it immediately caught my eye. Many of you might remember this look layered over an Izod colored shirt. Well now it’s back, but way cooler and more chic than before. This micro-trend can be worn anytime, no matter the time of year, and a sweater over your shoulders works with dresses to tank tops to blazers. Try it, you’ll feel extra stylish, and it adds a little warmth — kind of like a scarf!

I’ve been wearing this J.Crew cardigan non-stop, both over the shoulder and as a sweater. In the IGTV video, I showed it 3 ways:

#3 Bottega Veneta inspired square-toe sandals

The well-loved Italian brand Bottega Veneta continues to influence many of the handbags and shoes seen on all the fashion girls in recent months. And luckily, there are many new versions at affordable prices so the rest of us can get the look! Last year, I wrote this blog post during a vacation in Italy after I happened upon the Bottega Veneta store on the island of Capri. It was the first time I was able to see in person the infamous “Pouch,” and ever since, I’ve had a love affair with all things Bottega!

In the IGTV video, I was wearing this faux leather jumpsuit, and I showed these black sandals, this gold pair by Marc Fisher, and these Zara strappy ones.

#4 All white

There are some street style photos I absolutely love, and this one of a stylish Scandi girl is a great example. The shell necklace was love at first sight, and everything from the effortless white shirt to the cool sunglasses makes this an outfit to copy.

In the IGTV video, I was wearing this Michael Stars blouse, Frame white denim, these favorite sandals and this Mansur Gavriel, Bottega-inspired pouch. I switched up the outfit by adding these shoes and a sale Zara bag. Lastly, I wore these favorite Valentino sandals, and this YSL go-with-everything bag. It goes to show, all-white is super versatile!

#5 Caftans

Caftan dresses are stylish and elegant, but also super comfy, like the one I’m wearing above. You might also like this Tory Burch striped dress, available here in blue. And, if I had a pool, I’d definitely add this one or this one! See more of my picks here. These are perfect for summer  — just throw on some pretty sandals and you’re good to go!

Thank you for reading! xo
