5 stylish outfits that work for everyone!
This past week, my Nordstrom Stylist friends and I shared our favorite pieces, and yesterday was my day to share (view the Instagram post here). It sounds easy, but it can actually be tricky coming up with a clever story and narrowing down my choices to a favorite item or two, especially since I love a lot of things 🙂 Thankfully, the idea came to me in the middle of the night (even though I thought I was sleeping!!). This faux leather blazer is definitely a favorite, but had been sold out until I recently spotted it here and here. It’s super popular, works with every style of jean, and is VERY well priced at $118. So yesterday I spent the afternoon creating 5 stylish outfits and along the way, making a gigantic mess! Keep reading to see how it all turned out. I hope you like it!

#1 Silk cami & Flare denim
It’s pretty incredible to try on jeans and instantly feel slimmer and taller! And that’s the case with these Mother Brand “Weekender” flare jeans. These leg lengthening jeans are some of the best, and the frayed hem adds a casual touch. You can find a great selection here, here and here, and I highly recommend everyone give these a try. This silk cami is also worth mentioning. Cami NYC makes some of the loveliest camis available. The colors are gorgeous, and the lace details add a pretty, feminine detail. You’ll find some nice ones here, here and here.
#2 Denim skirt & Sneakers
These new Nike sneakers are SO comfy, and I was really excited to find them for you since they’ve been sold out. They work nicely with denim skirts, casual dresses or ankle length denim. The tank I’m wearing is a Madewell staple and is stretchy and forgiving, I highly recommend it — and it’s on sale. Lastly, denim skirts are the perfect summer staples, check this one out, and this one too.
#3 Cotton shirts & Faded blue denim
I recently picked up these faded blue skinnies, and they work perfectly with oversized, comfy cotton shirts. I’m especially fond of Frank & Eileen, and their sister company Grayson. They make the softest shirts in the basics, but also in pretty prints and stripes. Making sure to have a nice faded blue jean or two is a must for summer, but also for fall and winter. I especially love it paired with white and black. Lastly, how cute is this Mansur Gavriel pouch …. which looks basically identical to the cult-favorite Bottega Veneta pouch? I promise you’ll wear this one every day and it will become one of your favorite stylish outfits.
#4 All black
All black works every single time. It’s classic, elegant and provides much needed slimming effect, thanks to a few extra quarantine lbs 😉 These square-toed mules are reminiscent of the famous Bottega Veneta ones seen all over Instagram, but at a fraction of the price. I also love these Dazzler jeans so much, especially in the black and white colors. The fabric is the same on both; soft, stretchy and comfy. Although the Dazzler comes in a handful of washes, they all fit slightly differently, which is why I point out that the black and white are the same. Try them on to find your best fit!
#5 Black and White
Black and white is a truly classic combo, but adding a hint of pattern, like a snake print sandal, elevates the color scheme. The Levi’s 724 are a favorite, and if between sizes go down, as these stretch. Someone recently asked me for my favorite t-shirts, and ATM is always the first one that comes to mind. The Schoolboy tee is arm flattering, and it has a nicely- shaped fit without being too tight.
Thank you for reading and shopping these stylish outfits! xo
