5 things my daughter “steals” from me!
I know, I keep saying it, but age doesn’t matter when it comes to style. This is no joke, my daughter “steals” 😉 from me all the time! As a matter of fact, these days when something goes missing, I immediately accuse Emily, only to find it in my own pile of things!! 😂 However, I know I’m not alone, because some of my friends with daughters are experiencing the same thing. Who would have thought??
Here’s an example: we all purchase the same denim, but we all style it differently. Recently, Emily and I decided to have a try-on session, and it reminded me that although she wears it one way and I wear it another, we can still both look and feel good. And you can too!
P.S. We’ve had a little explosion of growth lately, so if you’re new around here and want to stay up to date on all things stylish and the hot new items we ALL need, then subscribe here and never miss a post! You can also follow me on Instagram here.
BlankNYC fur jacket – Emily’s Christmas present
We both adore candles. For birthdays and Christmas, I make sure to buy her favorite Anthropologie candle or this one by Volupsa. And before I know it, it’s gone, and she’s back in my room swiping my favorite Diptyque or Le Labo candles! Here are ones we love. (Click image to shop)
Don’t forget these necessities … wick trimmer, and pretty matchboxes
We’re both big fans of Charlotte Tilbury, and between my $100 splurge Magic Cream and the Pillowtalk eye palette that went missing for months, it’s safe to say these are favorites we both love and wear all the time! (Click images to shop)
Spring 2020 faves
Emily often “borrows” my jewelry. Her favorites seem to be Monica Vinader bracelets like this one or this one, and for awhile she wore my beloved Poppy Finch every day. Thankfully I have that one back now, which might explain why I’ve worn it in every single photo over the past year!
Lately I’ve noticed Emily wearing her blazer out on a Friday night, which proves it’s an important and versatile piece for day or night. As for me, I wear a blazer almost daily. She’s favoring oversized blazers right now, and so far she’s stayed away from my Veronica Beard one, which I wear often. Here are our current blazer picks!
