The downside of being a Personal Stylist

Since I shop for a living, and help my amazing friends and clients pick out the hottest, most bound-to-sell-out items, it’s inevitable that I fall in love with things too (a lot of things, every single day)! I call it “the downside of being a stylist.” The temptation to spend an entire paycheck on clothes is always there, which intellectually I know isn’t a great investment. But since I can’t have everything, it’s always fun to dream …

So I created a wishlist! A special list of beautiful things many of us would love to receive. Maybe someone in the fam will see this and a pressie will come my way 😉 And it doesn’t stop there. Emily has a list too, and she has good taste so I thought I’d share it with you. It has great gift ideas for your 20-something daughter/niece/sister!

P.S. Right now, if you’re a Nordstrom cardholder, it’s 10 points per dollar spent. In other words, 10% back in a Nordstrom Note!! This is a big deal if you’re contemplating a splurge, and now is the perfect time to go for it!

A few noteworthy comments on the wishlist above. First, this Dyson hair dryer has been in my basket for quite some time. Everyone loves it, and my friend claims it’s the best household appliance she owns. I tried on these booties the other day, and they look SO good, as do these sparkly sandals. If you’d like to try a new fragrance, Creed Aventus for her smells divine, and the men’s version is really really sexy. And lastly, I’ve needed a chic business card case for a while, and this one is now on the list!

A few notes on Emily’s list … this faux fur is her Christmas present. When she graduates from college this year, I’ve promised her a fancy bag as a present, so it looks like a Gucci is her choice. I also see this luxurious Natori silk robe is on her wishlist, which she might need to splurge for herself someday … when she gets a job! These are great ideas for the young lady in your life. I guarantee she will love any of these!

Happy shopping and thank you for reading! xo
