Welcome to another Room 3 Report: what we love this week!
In case you missed this popular post from a few months ago, I thought I’d revisit it this week. My work office, or “Room 3,” is actually a dressing room where I meet my clients and friends to help them figure out what to buy and how to wear it. Over the years in Room 3, there have been hundreds of friendships formed, laughter and tears, secrets told, job changes announced, kid things … oh, and clothes 😊 While the satisfaction of helping you all goes WAY beyond the actual clothes, we do get pretty excited when we find things we love!
SINCE I TRY ON CLOTHES FOR A LIVING …
… and I take mirror selfies along the way, I thought it would be a good idea to continue sharing my best finds with you. Who would have thought these (mostly) unedited dressing room pics would be so popular? Many of you requested another one, so …
HERE’S THE THIRD EDITION OF THE ROOM 3 REPORT!
Today’s Room 3 Report is on everything we love this week. With brand new merchandise rolling in daily, there’s a lot to cover! If you ever have any questions about sizing, fit, color or anything else, please contact me — I’m always happy to help. And if you enjoy reading this blog, subscribe here and never miss a post!
#1 Rebecca Taylor tweed blazer
Blazers are probably the number one piece to add this season. Any style works, whether it’s slightly oversized like the Club Monaco above, or a go-with everything tweed like this one. Find one you love and wear it with your favorite denim and a bootie. I’m certain it will be on constant rotation!
#2 Paige dress
Paige is a go-to brand for denim, but they also make some of my favorite sportswear, like the dress above. Check out this brand new jumpsuit, this belted leather jacket, this tee, and this cashmere turtleneck. You can’t go wrong with any of these easy-to -wear pieces.
#3 Court and Rowe plaid jacket
This plaid jacket is lightweight and will pair nicely with a t-shirt or a thin sweater layered underneath. I love the brown plaid with the hint of blue under the collar! I’m wearing a size small (which is a little too big) and I’d say it runs true to size. The Rag & Bone booties would be a great new addition to your closet, and you can wear them all fall and winter. They are the perfect height, and super comfy!
#4 Moncler jackets
I know this jacket is a huge splurge, but you’ll really really love it!! Made of water-resistant nylon, and premium down, these luxurious coats are warm and stylish. For affordable yet stylish options, look at these styles below.
#5 Everyday cardigans
No matter what age you are, cardigans are a staple in our closets. Their versatility, and the ability to wear either of these styles most of the year make them a solid purchase. Many of my clients own several cardigans, and wear them ALL the time!
#6 Cozy sweaters
Since sweater season has officially begun, it’s time to add a few new cozy ones to your collection. This cream cashmere sweater by Theory is super versatile: thin enough to tuck into a skirt, and cozy enough to wear all winter. I also love this boucle style by Vince, and this camel shade is THE color of the season!
#7 Gucci dress
I could think of 1000 places I’d wear this dress. A simple sheath style, it’s comfy, stylish and so easy to wear any time of year. Completely worth the splurge, in my opinion.
#8 Club Monaco trench
Trench coats are always in style, and are the perfect outer piece for Fall. Lightweight and versatile, they go just as easily with a dress as they do with denim. Check out this designer inspired trench by Court and Rowe — it manages to be classic and trendy at the same time!
