I’m wearing Topshop dress, similar here, and white AGL booties
Snake print …the trending pattern to wear …
Awhile back, I wrote about snake print and how it was taking over leopard print as the trending pattern to wear into 2019. Well here we are months later, and snake print is still holding its own. The stylish fashion girls are wearing it non-stop, as evidenced by all the street style fashion during recent fashion weeks. And … the best part is there are pieces to buy everywhere! So many, as a matter of fact, that even I feel a little overwhelmed! This is exactly why I decided to a little “blog research” and give you some thoughtful suggestions on what to buy. And, don’t get me wrong, I still adore leopard, and always will. But this neutral, lighter, go-with-everything print will have you all excited to try a few more pieces.
How to wear snakeskin (faux of course)
Try wearing a fun snakeskin shoe like this one or this one. You will love the subtle and sophisticated touch it adds to a simple cream sweater and your favorite grey, black or blue jeans. Or, be a little more daring like this favorite blogger of mine, and go for this of-the-moment sexy, knee boot number. (Below photo) I’m really admiring how she styled it with a gorgeous and simple sweater dress!
For the less adventurous, try a snake print cami layered under … well, just about anything. Or, a snakeskin handbag that will elevate literally anything you wear! Why not give it a shot, especially when you can pick up this Gucci look-alike for only $48.
I received so many compliments on this Topshop dress, which I had styled with white booties. And now I’m in search of my next piece! While all of the items below are totally of-the-moment, they are also seasonless. So not only does snakeskin go with everything you own, it’s also a lighter neutral which is the perfect addition to your wardrobe as we head into Fall. There’s something for everyone here, so shop the trend!
