All eyes on Bottega Veneta for Fall ‘19
The well-loved Italian Brand Bottega Veneta is having a resurgence once again, and is very much in the spotlight among the style crowd right now. “The Pouch,” a soft, buttery calfskin clutch, is one of the first releases by the new creative director, Daniel Lee. Seen all over Instagram and a favorite during Copenhagen fashion week, this new “it” bag is available in two sizes and a myriad of colors. And, it can be worn with every – and I mean every – outfit in your closet. However, this buy-now-wear-forever piece is not easy to get your hands on. I’ve had one several times in my shopping cart, only to wake up and discover it’s SOLD OUT!
As many of you know, I’m vacationing in Italy while writing this, and you can imagine my giddiness when I happened upon that very bag in the Bottega Veneta store while visiting the island of Capri! It was right there, in my hands, ultra soft, super stylish and the prettiest shade of blue I’ve ever seen. I’ll never forgive myself for not asking my Jake to take a photo!!
Not surprisingly, this trendy clutch isn’t the only Bottega Veneta item that is high demand. Take, for example, these signature square-toed mules that continue to sell out, or the “Marie” bag and the Intrecciato tote, both shown in the photo above. Fashionistas are obsessed with this “new” Bottega Veneta, and frankly, I am too. While it’s a little spendy, you might consider adding a piece to your own collection!

The Pouch can be found at Bottega Veneta, Nordstrom, Net-a-Porter, Matches Fashion and Moda Operandi. If you’re not up for a splurge, there’s this new Mansur Gavriel which is surprisingly similar and also sold out but I’m sure they’ll restock soon. And for lower priced options, try this Clare V. or this Yuzefi. I’m certain there will be more versions to come!
