3 Surprising ways to wear animal print

Animal prints are proving to be the hottest trend of the year.  I’m talking leopard, tiger, snake and even zebra!!  A while back, I suggested that leopard was being pushed out by snake print (read the post here).  Boy was I wrong!  And I LOVE them all, particularly when combined with white for summer.  Whether it’s with white denim, a white sneaker or white accessories, these prints are the perfect choice for any summer gathering.  Depending on your comfort level, you can simply add a touch of animal print to your outfit.  Try one piece, like these shoes or even a scarf.  Or, go all out with a leopard dress!!

No matter the season, think of animal print as a timeless trend that works all year long and is just plain cool. Keep reading for some of the best pieces to try, along with some street style to get inspired for your own outfits!  If you enjoy reading, subscribe here and never miss a post.

3 surprising ways to wear animal print

#1 Add a touch of blue

While combining light blue faded denim with leopard is super cool, I’d love to copy Pandora Sykes blue blazer combo above. Or how about tying a blue sweater in an unexpected way?

#2 White anything

White is the perfect addition to animal print and it looks amazing for summer.  I love this bag, and this bracelet and earring will work with everything in your wardrobe.

#3 Add a sneaker

This popular blogger Fashion Jackson paired her AFRM leopard dress with the super stylish Gucci bee sneaker here.

Animal print favorites

Halogen leopard skirt | ATM tee | Linea Paola sandals (I don’t recommend these, as the strap does not stay up) |  Chloe sunnies

  1. Love the leopard and blue combo. Very fresh and unexpected. I’ve had a blue blazer very similar to Plum Sykes’ option hanging in my closet since two summers ago. And now I’ve found it’s look!
