Topshop is one of those British high street labels that do certain clothing trends especially well. And if carefully selected, these pieces will integrate seamlessly into your wardrobe. I love mixing higher end favorites with a few trendier items. And my friends and clients are always so surprised when I tell them what I’m wearing is from Topshop! Maybe it’s the Chanel pin that fools some, or the iconic Loewe handbag, both pictured in the above photo. But either way I’m a big fan of adding a Topshop piece from time to time.
I can personally attest to all of the following favorites, because over the years I’ve tried/owned them all! Take, for example, the Topshop denim jacket, which has been one of their best sellers over the years. Recently I couldn’t find mine, and immediately thought it might be in my daughter’s closet. Sure enough it was, and is now a cropped version of itself due to a DIY hack and a pair of sharp scissors. And now, coincidentally, Topshop has come out with its own version! More recently, this Topshop snake print dress received the most comments of any item I’ve worn. While it’s currently sold out, there are a couple of versions of it here and here.

#1 going out dresses
I’m going to sneak into my daughter’s room next time I’m going out and nab this satin midi dress. I’ll add my favorite leather jacket and be ready for a night out! Their silky slip dresses are so perfect right now, you should be trying any one of their new styles for Spring.
#2 Blazers
It’s the perfect way to try a pretty pastel color as seen all over the style set during the various fashion weeks in New York and Paris. Add a matching pant and you’ll be right on trend for Spring ‘19, or wear with your favorite graphic tee and denim and a white sneaker.
#3 Denim jackets
A year around staple, available in black wash and several newer denim washes, and in a cropped version or a newer, oversized version. I wrote about it a few months ago here.
#4 Spring bags
The styling is so good, and the prices are so amazing that adding one to your collection in a color you might not try otherwise is a must. I recently purchased a brown one, seen here, and the color of this designer is so perfect I added one to my cart. These bags tend to be on the smaller side and embellished, which makes them versatile and fun!
#5 silky skirts
Another category Topshop is doing very well. I’d been eyeing a Vince silk satin skirt for $295, and when I decided to make the splurge, it was gone. But never mind because this one looks identical!
