I’m wearing: pink turtleneck sweater and Celine sunnies

Maybe its the unusually sunny weather we’re experiencing here in Portland, but suddenly a new pair of sunnies has risen high on my list!  Honestly, I can’t think of a single item that adds more instant glamour than a good pair of sunglasses.

Typically, sunglasses are considered a spring and summer essential, but recent Fashion Weeks demonstrated that eyewear is the must-have accessory.  So, it makes complete sense to have a collection of the coolest sunglasses possible.  They are alluring and relevant regardless of the month or temperature, making them the important piece to add now!!

In a perfect world, I think we should own a few different pairs.  Definitely the classic black, slightly oversized style that is the epitome of glam. These spectacular Gucci ones came home with me recently.  Then there’s the iconic aviator style (love these), and tortiseshell frames (also favs) are also timeless.  Lastly, since this past season we saw new styles of cat eyes, white rims and cool flat top sunglssses, you could add a trendy pair you simply love — just for fun.  One obsession I’m still dealing with (ha ha) are the latest styles in forest green – like this pair.  I can personally attest that the color is universally flattering as I wrote about here, and is something new and different, and worth trying out.
