Imagine my surprise when an email from Circa Lighting appeared in my inbox.   Circa lighting recently announced their new partnership with Julie Neill! Circa lighting has always been a favorite, go-to lighting resource.  I worked with Julie, a New Orleans based designer, a handful of years ago when she custom designed my living room chandelier. It is, by far, the most complimented piece in my entryway.

Upon delivery, I was delighted to receive a little history of this lovely work of art: the wood center piece came from a fallen tree salvaged from the ruins of Katrina. It was modeled after a French antique light fixture that I had coveted for many years. It instantly belonged in my living room and has had its home there ever since.

Julie’s lighting pieces are custom designed by hand and skillfully crafted in her studio where she personally oversees the finish of each fixture. I would love a pair of these lamps on a nightstand next to my bed; this chandelier would be beautiful in any living room; these sconces accent and update any wall; and this lantern must go somewhere outside my newly painted white house!
