Favorite brand alert! Mansur Gavriel

Mansur Gavriel became an overnight sensation when they launched their version of the famous bucket bag, which quickly became a cult favorite.  Friends Rachel Mansur and Floriana Gavriel began with two minimalist designs made of Italian leather with contrast lining.  These chic, versatile carryalls sold out in a month, creating wait lists and high demand.  The following September during NYFW, the must-have bucket bag was the bag of choice by fashion editors and street style stars.

Fast forward to fall 2018: the see-now, buy-now Mansur Gavriel RTW collection was unveiled yesterday and received glowing reviews.  The show (see here) was set at Spring Studios featuring their signature pink tablecloths – with Laduree confections as decorations! (Don’t even get me started on how much I love Laduree macaroons). The starting point of the collection was beautiful materials, including double faced cashmere, silk and camel hair.  Cashmere coats were seen in soft hues like oatmeal, soft grey and pale pink with matching bags.   The best thing about the whole show?  It’s immediately shoppable.

Where to purchase the collection?

The Mansur Gavriel clothing and handbag line was launched at Nordstrom this past August, and is carried in select stores. Shop the entire collection here.

The handbag edit

Besides the every-day bucket bag, which is still a personal favorite, there are several others I’d love to own.  This circle bag in the prettiest blue-grey will be perfect with lighter wash denim.  The mini lady bag in pale pink will work with most any outfit, acting like a neutral.  Shop my favorites below!

Clothing Favorites

I absolutely love their dress and jacket combinations.  Individually, the pieces are versatile and together the sophisticated, monochromatic styling is perfection!  I have this coat in my shopping bag, and this silk blouse would be perfect with high waisted, lighter wash denim.  Click below to see my picks!
